Sonia Gandhi: No one has done as much for the development of Gujarat as the Congress

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday kick-started her party’s election campaign in Gujarat with a big farmers rally in Rajkot. Rubbishing the huge claims by Modi about the development in the state, Sonia Gandhi argued that all the development in Gujarat took place during Congress rule. "No one has done as much for the development of Gujarat as the Congress ," she said. The UPA Chairperson also acknowledged the contribution of farmers, artisans, industrialists and traders for having worked hard to take the state forward.
