Slamming UP chief minister for rampant corruption in the state, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has charged Mayawati of stealing the money sent by the Central government for the welfare of the poor. The CBI probe recently ordered by Allahabad High Court would expose the multi-crore National Rural Health Mission scam, he said. Congress (I)-led UPA government had sent money for the poor; it was not for Mayawati or Babu Singh Kushwaha former family welfare minister, he further said adding that an inquiry is on and people will soon know who pocketed how much. During his public contact campaign for upcoming Assembly elections he cautioned the audience that they had been pushed to the corner and deprived of their basic rights. He reminded the people that the only way to bring Uttar Pradesh again on fast track development was to vote in the Congress (I) and vote out corrupt Mayawati government.
