Blaming the BJP as divisive force in the country, Congress (I) has said BJP has always plaid negative force in national politics. BJP’s approach towards national politics is based on ideology which is dangerous for the unity and integrity of the country. BJP treats only persons subscribing to its ideology as citizen and the rest as mere residents in India. Again it considers a certain religion, language and culture as Indian and ignores others being foreign and transplanted by force in the country. Congress (I) has pointed that we are living in a democratic country where such ideology as espoused by BJP has no place. For instance BJP projects L K Advani as national level leader but it was he who was instrumental in the demolition of Babri Masjid. Similarly, secular India does not need a person who masterminded 2002 Gujarat genocide, said Congress (I).
