Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday urged the people to oust the Left Front government in Tripura and elect a opro-people Congress government in the state. While addressing a big Congress rally in Agartala, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the 20 years misrule by the CPM led government did nothing for the development in Tripura.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi while addressing an election rally in Tripura’s Sonamura on Monday urged the people to vote out the present Left Front government. Rahul Gandhi said, “In all other states in the country there is a government and the people. But in the Left Front-ruled Tripura, the CPM stands between the government and the common people. So, it is high time you use your valuable vote to remove the organisation standing between you and the government.”

They told us if we want to get rid of British you have to use violence. But the Congress party said no and also said that we are not going to use violence. We will use non-violence and we defeated the biggest empire of that time and sent them home.
