Congress (I) has said under Mayawati’s BSP rule in Uttar Pradesh the conditions of the people has turned from bad to worse. A number of non-Congress government have been ruling the state for the last two decades and ruined the state. While BJP created violence and communal tension in the state, BJP-BSP combination brought forward unthinkable alliance between these two parties having complete incompatible ideologies. The result was betrayals, uncertainty and chaos which gave further rise chance to opportunists and persons of criminal background to enter politics and capture power. It was a ripe time for Mayawati to play caste politics which brought her into power. To perpetuate her rule over the state she invented social engineering theory by which she combined together opportunists and persons of criminal background under BSP. Those legislators and ministers of Mayawati government completely paralyesed the state machinery. As a result crime, extortions, murders and rape increased unprecedently. Now people of the pradesh are so much fed up with her government that they are saying Mayawati must go this time, said Congress (I).
